Ever wondered what 'chic' really meant in 1970s and 80s East Berlin? Ostel is dedicated to providing just such an experience, offering period furnished rooms in an original building from the era when Berlin was two cities bitterly divided. Ostel combines this nod to those days with a thoroughly modern outlook on hospitality and accommodation. Guests can choose from a dormitory bed, a single or double private room, or the hostel's holiday apartment. During the summer, there is beach volleyball and table tennis in the garden - where there is also a bar for those who choose to simply relax in the sunshine.
