Hotel Kempinski Bristol

|
If you're expecting us to tell you who the hell Kempinski is, or for that matter what the deuce Bristol has got to do with Berlin, then we're sorry to disappoint you! What we can say authoritatively however is that the Hotel Kempinski Bristol is the German capital's original luxury hotel and its twelve storey facade can be found on the prestigious Kurfürstendamm in the heart of West Berlin. Aside from its reputation for opulence and expense, the Bristol is famous for being the first hotel in Berlin to introduce a swimming pool (in 1972). Breakfasting by the baths is still a treat 30 odd years on. |
