Meininger Hostel

There are four separate Meininger Hostels in Berlin alone, but the one on Hallesches Ufer is the biggest and enjoys the best location, making it the firm favourite amongst backpackers. Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, the Jewish Museum and Friedrichstrasse are just some of the tourist attractions within walking distance, whilst a roof top terrace on the seventh floor provides the perfect setting for breakfast or a post-sightseeing drink. A wide range of different rooms are available including female only dorms, for girls worried about guys looking up their nighties.

I was interrailing whit my 2 friends last summer, and i have to say, that Berlins Meininger hostel was the best hostel we visited. Cleen and cosy, and the staff was very flexible. Thank you a lot!

Kitchen is perfect for backpackers and showers are ok. Location is exelent. Price/ quality is very very good. Keep me a room open for the next time i come to Berlin again.
