Turkish Market

|
The Turkish market that runs twice weekly alongside a canal in Kreuzberg could be the epitome of integration in Berlin. It is the centre of a thriving Turkish population, and adored by both locals getting into world cooking and tourists looking for a cheap bite.
It's only open Tuesdays and Fridays, from 11am, but turn up on one of those days and it's as is almost a mile of canal bank has been stripped away and replaced with a vibrant, colourful portion of Turkish delight.
Fresh produce, including fruit, vegetables and spices, and specialities such as feta and olives, all at market prices. |
