Among them was Claudia Skoda - set to knit herself into fashion history with the creation of simple, elegant but sensual dresses that are still a favourite today. In her home town, Claudia partied with David Bowie and Iggy Pop as her needles clicked along with the sounds of a new generation. She's still there today, and her shop attracts tourists and style-conscious locals eager to be seen in one of her creations.
