Hugendubel

|
At the last count there were seven branches of Hugendubel dotted around Berlin. Hardly surprising, as this is one of Germany's biggest book retailers.
The big sell for these guys, at least as far as travellers are concerned, is that most of their stores have a huge selection of books in English, and a fair few other languages too.
Typical of the modern entertainment department store, Hugendubel also stocks stationery, CDs and DVDs, alongside daily newspapers from around the world, and magazines on every subject under the sun. And, if you're looking for somewhere to sit and browse awhile without someone trying to sell you a cocktail, there are plenty of comfortable seats too. |
