Tegel Airport

|
Tegel is Berlin's biggest airport and your likely port of call if you're arriving from an international destination (unless of course you've paid peanuts for your ticket in which case you'll be arriving out in Schonefeld with the rest of the plebs - sorry "financially-challenged travellers"). Tegel is actually due for closure in 2011 when the mega new Berlin Brandenburg International Airport opens, but in the meanwhile you can still enjoy a decent level of service from this modern airport which has all the facilities you'd hope to find at hand. To reach Tegel jump on buses X9, 109, 128 or the JetExpressBus TXL from the Unter den Linden. | |
