Not Thierry Henry and the gang, but a cutting edge cinema run by the non-for-profit Friends of the German Film Archive. The programming is largely the sort of thing you might expect from an artsy Berlin film institution - Scandinavian road movies, Middle Eastern love stories, and plenty of whacky German indie flicks - however they also screen Hollywood cult classics, so don't be too surprised to catch Brad and Ed in Fight Club. On any given (Sun)day, you should be able to find something in English, or at least with English subtitles; if not then find your standard popcorn fare next door at either CinemaXX or CineStar Sony Centre. |
