The Berlin Wall hits Twitter

As part of the continuing festivities of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the the Berlin Wall, the city of Berlin has launched a unique online platform for open discussion.

The Berlin Twitter Wall allows users of the popular online service Twitter to post messages on a virtual segment of the East Side Gallery. A slideshow, which can be paused, rewinded and fastforwarded, moves horizontally across the website displaying users' thoughts about the wall, its fall, and their hopes for the future.

Join in the discussion by tagging your Twitter update with the hashtag #fotw or simply visit the Berlin Twitter Wall here.
