Tresor Returns to Berlin!
Well it's been an up and down year for fans of dance music in Berlin. First there was the sad news that the Love Parade would be moving elsewhere in 2007, causing technoheads untold misery and anguish, but just recently surfaced a rumour that would have them reaching for their glowsticks and whistles once more...
The rumour was that the mighty Tresor is about to reemerge onto the Berlin club scene. And at Berlin Life we're very pleased to confirm that rumour! After being forced out of its old home, in the vaults on Leipziger Strasse, many clubbers feared the worse. Either Tresor was gone for good - or, if it returned, it would never be the same. Of course there is still a danger of the latter, but those lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the new location (in an old power station on K?peniker street) have been highly impressed. The all new Tresor will boast three floors: the Batterieraum, the +4 Bar and a basement, which can be reached through a 30-metre tunnel. Sounds like the perfect home for the old king of Berlin techno!
The opening night will take place on the 24th May at K?penikerstrasse 59-73, Berlin. We were only kidding about the glowsticks and whistles...
