Sand storms into O2 World
From June 6th until August 29th, the eighth annual sand-sculpturing competition "Sandsation" is back in Berlin and raring to go, this time at O2 World. The winners have already been chosen yet there is still time to go and see the towering sculptures which have had spectators in awe over the past few days. What will be your favourite? Will it be the angel by the American Bruce Phillips or the sculpture by Sudarsan Pattnaik, who knows? What is known, however, is that this year the competition is and has been looking very promising and the 20 "sand artists" have been able to dig right into this year’s theme, "Head in the Sand."
