Monsieur Vuong

This very cool restaurant is not only a hit with the 'In crowd' of Berlin but, without name-dropping too much, the likes of Bruce Willis are known to pop in when in Berlin. On top of the regular menu, a blackboard chalks up a couple of daily specials for around 6.50 Euros, normally a meat dish served with either rice or noodles (but they will replace the meat with Tofu for vegeterians). Why not wash that down with a cold bottle of Saigon beer or one of the excellent and very reasonably priced wines? After your meal sit back and enjoy a Vietnamese coffee before they ask you to leave as they will probably need your table.

"I WENT TO MONSIEUR VUONG LAST YEAR AND THOUGHT THE FOOD WAS PRETTY POOR QUALITY AND OVER PRICED; THEN I WENT THERE YESTERDAY (16-09-06) AND ORDERED THE WAN TAN SOUP AND WAS SO DISAPOINTED THAT I TOLD THE WAITER IT WAS THE WORSE WAN TAN I EVER HAD; HE THEN TOLD ME THEY HAD AN AWARD FOR THE BEST WAN TAN; I THEN TOLD THE WAITER; "WHO EVER GAVE YOU THIS AWARD DOES NOT KNOW WHAT WAN TAN REALLY IS" THE WAN TAN SOUP I ORDERED CONSISTED OF SIX TINY PIECES OF PASTRIES FILLED WITH HALF A TEASPOON OF MINCED PORK AND QUATER OF A BOWL OF SPRING ONIONS AND PRICED AT 6,50 EUROS; I BELIEVE THIS IS WAY OVERPRICED; I BELIEVE THIS PLACE IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BAD TASTE AND HANGING AROUND A PLACE LIKE THIS THEN YOU REALLY MUST HAVE BAD TASTE, INCLUDING YOU BRUCE WILLIS WHEN YOU PASS BY HERE FROM TIME TO TIME (POOR YOU) "
