Die Berliner Republik

You are absolutely not going to go hungry if you are anywhere near this restaurant at almost any time of day. Die Berliner Republik is open to 6am, making it perfect if you need to grab a bite after a night on the tiles (or are after a very early and hearty beakfast!). It's a very democratic establishment too, and on the pub side it is a favourite watering hole of everyone from traders and artisans to politicians and businessmen. This is not so surprising, as one of the cornerstones of German dining has to be beer - and Die Berliner Republik has 18 of them on offer - via its own 'stock market'. Just don't give in to the temptation to test them all in one sitting.
