Don't be fooled by this rather ramshackle facade on Gross Hamburger Strasse - behind it lies one of the best restaurants in Berlin. There's certainly nothing sloppy about the interior, with its baby-smooth terracotta paintjob providing a nice contrast to the rough and ready exposed brickwork, all tastefully lit of course. But it's the food that's winning over the plaudits at REmake, with dishes from around the globe being freshly prepared in their kitchen and complimented by some fine Austrian wines. Indeed the one caveat of dining here is that the food is prepared with such love and attention that you can expect to wait a long time between courses.
