Bleibergs

A fantastic restaurant for service and quality. As a kosher traveller to Berlin I always appreciate the friendly hospitable service including delivery to my hotel. I have sampled a variety of their lunch and dinner menu items. Portions are as good as the taste and presentation. I recommend bleibergs to any kosher traveller and for any vegetarian. Thanks and see you again!

Julep's

A short visit to Berlin can only be fulfilled with a visit to 'Juleps'. Possibly the only totally authentic New York cocktail bar,in Berlin. Great food, cool cocktails and a really friendly atmosphere. Don't miss this one folks!!!

Kasbah

Ich war dort heute Abend mit meiner Frau. Das Ambiente war ok, aber die Stühle sehr unbequem. Wir haben einen Vorspeiseteller bestellt (20€ !!!) und was kam entspricht auf gar keinen Fall das, was man erwartet und bezahlt: gemüse! nur gemuse, Auberginen, Paprika und Karotten...ach! und 4 kleine Teigtaschen die viel zu trocken waren, für 20€ ist das sehr enttäuschend. Meine Frau wollte keine Hauptspeise, aber die Kellnerin hat sie überzeugt, etwas zu bestellen....nach ca. 30 Sekunden hat meine Frau die Bestellung bei der Kellnerin abgelehnt, aber die Kellnerin sagte dass die Bestellung schon eingetragen war... schmutziger Trick, dann hat meine Frau kein Hunger mehr gehabt und wir haben ihr Essen praktisch intakt einpacken lassen und mitgenommen. Die hauptspeise war OK, aber keine Offenbarung. Ich habe selber besseres Couscous gekocht... für ca. 15€ pro Teller, finde ich die erfahrung extrem arm. Insgesamt 55€ für sehr langweiliges Essen zähneknirschend bezahlt.

Passion

In September 2011 we stayed in Berlin for a week and every evening after an all day tour around the city we would stop at Passion, and believe me - that was the best way to finish the day: excellent food, very friendly staff, reasonable prices and superb wine.

Zur Letzten Instanz

Traditionnal german cooking: not high end, rather plain sauerkraut and eisbein (pigs nuckle). Those looking for the finer eateries of Berlin should avoid. The terrasse is very nice, food is rather something we want to forget.
