There are some subjects that are simply so contraversial they can't help dividing people. GM crops, cloning, abortion, nuclear power - and karaoke. According to some it's the most fun a girl (or boy) can have without taking their clothes off; according to others it's the worst idea since the handlebar moustache. Depending which category you fall into you will either spend an amazing night at Kim's Karaoke belting out 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' with all your mates cheering you on, or you will spend the evening locked in the bogs, your ears stuffed with toilet paper. Notwithstanding the fact that typical karaoke choices are always terrible, anyone requesting Wet Wet Wet or Celine Dion should be defenestrated.
