Maria am Ostbahnhof

In a city rammed to the gills with uber-cool nightspots, Maria am Ostbahnoff (or simply 'Club Maria') is perhaps the coolest of them all. The decor is funky, with imaginative lighting making the best of an uninspiring building, and the punters inside are invariably of the extremely hip variety. If the names Coldcut, The Fall, Le Tigre or The Knife mean anything to you then this is where you should come when in town, for all have played live here recently. Just make sure you're kitted out in sweatbands, retro sneakers and vintage zip-ups a la mode if you want to fit in.

I'm not gonna lie! me and my mates wanted to go to this club real bad after watching the film Berlin Calling, and we certainly were NOT disappointed :)

Forget about Berghain and go to Maria like a real Berliner! :P

maria is definitely one of the best venues in Berlin. real authentic music enjoyed by music lovers
