Hops and Barley

Hops and barley are important, because they become beer, and beer is undoubtedly a good thing. It's an even better thing, usually, if it's brewed in small quantities by what amounts to little more than a home brewery, and only available in limited outlets. So thank heavens for Hops are Barley, the little brewery (or 'Hausbrauer', in German, that is tending to the more discerning tastes of thirsty Berliners and visitors to the Friedrichshain district of the city. These guys must be doing something right because they are producing and selling not only beers, but also souvenirs so that visitors can remember the beers when they get home.
