Don't let the minimalist basement setting of this Privat fool you into thinking this is some kind of underground dive. It is actually on of Berlin's fashionable spots, often favoured by the ever-changing procession of 'names' in the city's various arts, and those who aspire to join them. Musically speaking, this is one for lovers of all things techno, especially those who are looking for new directions in this genre. Live acts are not as frequent here as they are at some of Berlin's other clubs, but those that do play at Privat are always crowd-pleasers. Nice selection of cocktails too, though not at the lower end of the budget.
