Right from the off it's clear that Mobel-olfe is no ordinary bar. Perhaps it's the human skeleton with the skull of some indefinable animal that gives it away. In fact, defining this popular gay bar is made nigh on impossible by the mixed clientele and decor. Just about the only thing that can definitely be said about Mobel-olfe is that they have got the eclecticism absolutely spot on, as it is always busy and the guests are always friendly whether you are a local or a tourist. The music is easy going, mostly mainstream stuff, and the drinks are not expensive. It's a fine place to stay for the evening, but even if you plan a tour of the gay bars in Berlin be sure to include it on your list.
