Levee

Formerly known as the Bang Bang club, perhaps because the music there was always played at about a million decibels. Though the name has changed, as indeed has the owner, nobody has yet turned down the volume. It's a magnetic for live bands, offering a year-round rolling programme of new and discovered acts. When there's nobody playing the music on stage, it's down to the DJs to entertain, and that's just what they do. The sounds are all fairly standard club fare, but once in a while you will get a surprise.
