Bar am Luetzowplatz

Most of Berlin may be content to be considered as 'poor but sexy', but not the clients of Bar am Luetzowplatz. This is one of the premiere hangouts for Berlin's yuppy crowd, and on any given night you can expect to find the place heaving with Armani suits ordering champagne by the bottle at the 16 metre long bar (they just had to go one better!). If you're not minted then pay attention to special offers during the rather generous happy hour - 1400-2100 during weekdays - or alternatively why not flirt with that guy who just collected his annual bonus? During the summer a place on the pavement is gold dust.

We went there with few friends just to dance a bit and drink some beer but the music was getting better, atmosphere was getting better, it turned out to be one of the best nights in my life!
