As with any city in the world you will always find an Irish pub, and Berlin is no exception with each district having a fair few to choose from. This pub is in a great location, just staggering distance from Oranienburger Tor U-banhof and just around the corner from one of Berlin's busiest streets for nightlife, the Oranienburger Strasse. Popular with locals and tourists alike, the Oscar offers Guinness, Kilkenny and Strongbow on tap as well as German beers and a large selection of Irish whiskeys. The staff are very friendly and the food selection is good, varying from the traditional Irish breakfast to Curry Schnitzel. They also offer daily specials and probably the best bacon butty in Berlin!

W. O'driscall indeed! He ripped me off and the clocks ticking away!

What goes around comes around.'I'm sure of that.

As for the pub, a rip off guys, stay well clear and just use the local German bars. As they say, when in Rome.

I was in Berlin to get a break from Irish pubs. Went in before I realised it was an Oirish bar, replete with menacing idiot drunks, and promptly left.

A Brit living in Berlin, huge rugby fan, you won't find a better pub in Berlin for atmosphere on 6 Nations match days!!

I worked here from 1996-2001 - got to give it top marks!

We were there last weekend to see the rugby matches. A grand pub for that and the food was fairly good too. The price of the drink is nothing new for any irish pub, we get robbed at home in the pub so why should it be any different in the irish pubs abroad. In all a grand pub for watchin the matches but if your going for a few there are plenty of other places around the city.
