Museum of Decorative Arts

|
The exhibits of the Museum of Decorative Arts are spread over two sites - here at Kopenick and in the Kulturforum Potsdamer Platz.
Between them, the branches display examples of craftsmanship from artisans living and working at different times from medieval to contemporary. Costumes, tapestries, furniture, glass, enamel and porcelain, silver and gold artifacts are on display, as well as more modern materials. They represent a wide range of patronage, as they were created either by the artists as commercial ventures, or on commission from the church, the royal court and members of the aristocracy. |
