Deutsche Guggenheim

Proof that a communion of art and money can sometimes be fruitful, the Deutsche Guggenheim is a collaborative effort involving the Deutsche Bank and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation. It hasn't been going long, but has already established a reputation not just for excellent and provocative exhibitions, but as a a place at the heart of Berlin's cultural scene. The exhibitions focus on the contemporary, with many shows by living artists that attract almost 150,000 visitors each year.
