Dali Ausstellung

|
The fall of the Berlin Wall coincided with the anniversary of eccentric Spaniard Salvador Dali's death, and the opening of this permanent museum in Berlin.
The founders were quick to point out that it was no coincidence - Dali's work could after all tear down barriers in art and life that had once seemed solid, they said.
It is a private enterprise which has built on the popularity of Dali not just in his native Spain, but in Germany too. The curators have managed to acquire for display samples of the artist's surreal work, from collections around the world. Exhibition pieces include drawings, prints, sculpture, paintings and films as well as written extracts which throw light on the life of the man who melted clocks. |
