Devil's Mountain

Teufelsberg, to give it it's proper name in German, means devil's mountain. It is in fact an artifical heap of rubble created from Berlin's bombed buildings and eventually rising higher than any other natural hill in the Berlin area. Somewhere beneath it all is a college designed by architect Albert Speer. On top of the hill is an accidental monument to the cold war - a listening station built by the Americans to spy on Russia and other Warsaw Pact nations. The station has long-since been abandoned - though those who worked there call for it to be preserved as an official museum. Nevertheless, a walk around Teufelsberg is a free day out in the countryside, and perhaps a site to see while exploring the Grunewald forest.

Devil's Mountain, Its Not a place that as a English man Today, Rest easy with me, Knowing all of this was for what, Death Death Death So So Many Live's Lost. Its a Great Shame that Any of this had to happen, No one Really Won, In fact Both Side's Lost.
We as Humans Must NEVER let this happen again, My heart goes out to all Germans & others who Lost there Live's & the one's who also Suffered.
