Britzer Garten

Forget about Amsterdam, Britzer Garten boasts one of the most spectacular shows of tulips in Europe with spectacular numbers and varieties in bloom for just a few weeks each spring. Come the autumn, and it's time to smell the roses, literally. And the park also has a massive display of dahlias each year, beginning each summer with a display of 10,000-plus blooms in around 200 varieties. Factor in the firework displays, concerts, festivals and countless other public events held each year, and it's not difficult to see what Britzer has been officially recognised as one of Germany's most beautiful gardens.
