Tipi am Kanzleramt

|
Cabaret, circus, flamenco, comedy... the list of acts that appear at Tipi am Kanzleramt in the heart of Berlin continues to grow.
There has been a theatre of this kind on this spot since the turn of the nineteenth century, when Berliners turned out to see spectacles 'in the tents'. These days, the canvas is still there but the entertainment has moved on a little, and the venue offers fantastic (though not particularly cheap) dining.
Acts come from around the world for the chance to perform at Tipi, and audiences follow them to Berlin so they can sample the atmosphere of this unique theatre. With acts in a variety of styles and genres, there is no reason why you shouldn't check this out. |
