Musuem founder Flo Hayler really had no choice about opening this place.
He had been collecting Ramones memorabilia for almost 20 years and the house was full of it. What began as a ticket stub, poster and tee-shirt from his first Ramones gig, ended up with an ultimatum from his girlfriend: "Either the stuff goes or I do."
This place is not just about the Ramones (though it's impossible to move without being confronted by an image of Joey or Johnny). Flo aimed to make it a haven for all music fans, and his idea seems to have worked.
There are around 200 pieces of Ramones memorabilia on permanent display - although one less than previously, as a fan walked off with a signed picture of Johnny Ramone. Flo would like to hear from anyone who can replace it.
